woolleydick
whats that harmonic booster?who makes it?
Ok further update now that Higgie has put me back in touch with the website that knows all about obscure pedals. Other similar pedals are to be found here:- http://filters.muziq.be/search/node/jennings
BigBassBob
Another variation... decided to have a more bread and butter board so took off the things I use the least (noise box and synth, although the noise box will be on my board of wacky sounds when i get around to building it). I also put a Boss EQ after my Abunai2 to give it some more low end. My od channel consists of my Abunai2 with EQ for grind sounds... Voodoobass on it's own for fat tubey sounds and the 3 together for really heavy, nasty OD.
bottomfeed
Hi all, I got lazy about my pedalboard this time round & decided to buy the off the shelf Boss jobbie... complete with 2 major design faults... those stupid little plastic catches which succumbed to the drunk tramplings of punters within a few gigs!... spent a few months re-glueing them before I abandoned them for little padlocks & a strip of gaffa... & the skinniest of wires on the transformer that powers all 7 items.... rediculous! L 2 R: Boss dd6 digi-delay, Tech 21 bass compactor, Ibanez phat hed, Boss chorus, Dod evelope filter, Ebs octabass Edited July 14, 2007 by bottomfeed
BassBalls
This is my latest set up. Very happy with it. The looper is amazing, boost switch is very helpful when i do tapping. Pic is from my phone. Cheers
Kev
looper isnt half a space taker though, have you seen the small ones that have like 4-8 loops on them? cant remember the brand off the top of my head now
BassBalls
Yeah the looper is a bit of a beast! I think this is my finished pedal board now which is good. Iv got a piece of wood for any minour expansion, eg a wah or volume. No i aint seen those loop pedals, is there a true bypass switch for each loop? Basszilla
Cool. I'll hopefully get some shots of my (soon to be finished) board up here next week. Just waiting on a last pedal and a couple of patch leads which are in the post and I'll take some shots. I've managed to squeeze 7 pedals onto my diago, took a bit of arrangement/headscratching but it looks the biz. All kitted out in obbm's finest. I will at some point order the voltage doubler from diago so I can operate my cool cat from the same supply. Really really pleased with the diago overall though (thanks JJ!!). Cracking power supply and a very durable board to keep my pedals/settings happy. Packing away/setting up at rehersal is so much easier now as well!!!! Stan_da_man
Usually just that. I can't be arsed with my ME-50B sometimes. Would like a looper though...
Basszilla
Here's my board then. It's a bit tight but managed to get everything on there except my tuner, I don't mind that though. Multicomp > Cream pie > LTD Silver > Bluebeard > UF-01 > VBF2 with a 18v Cat in the loop. I haven't had a chance to give it a good kicking yet in a band setting, so I'm looking forward to that. I'll probably end up moving it about a bit at some point. EDIT : Bit of a large pic that, have to learn how to resize ;-) On a sidenote - does anyone know if the standard diago supply is cool with the multicomp? I guess there's no reason why it shouldn't be. Edited July 19, 2007 by Basszilla

Basszilla
Obv this is the only way I can get my fx in an order which is right for me bro. There's no rulebook! If it works, it works.
Kev
lol but surely your effects would fit exactly the same way if you had the board the right way round??
Basszilla
Yawn It works perfectly for me this way as I said. I'm happy. Don't spoil it now.
john_the_bass
i don't understand what's wrong with it - although i reckon, if you shoved your cat up to the left a bit and unplugged the fig 8 lead from the diago when it wasn't being used, you just might squeeze your tuner on there. john_the_bass
mine - that's yer lot - and yeah having done a bit of experimenting, i do quite like the ODB-3 although I do have a slightly larger and not quite finished guitar one here

john_the_bass
it only needs two - 30w of class A goodness doesn't need fancy buttons and switches to make it sound better you don't need any buttons or switches when you have one of these
tayste_2000
Here's mine with some of my new toys, still waiting on one pedal that I should be able to fit somewhere. Still waiting on my new case as well, which will tidy the board up and really sweeten my setup. Enjoy
ChocolateTelevision
TaySte - what's that tiny pedal between the Cream Pie and the Huckleberry? And is the 3-footswitch box in the top-left some sort of loop switcher?
