Kev
Two actives and two passives. The only active that I have to treat a little differently is my American P V that had an Aguilar OBP 3 in it (big, big output... was clipping my PWNZOR until I turned the input gain down and played a little lighter).
The reason I went for passive is that I found my Pwnzor worked much better with passive electronics than active; to be more exact a passive Precision than the two active Warwick basses I had whilst I owned it. From what Spencer has said, 'Your're Doom' works equally well with active and passive basses, can you attest to this?
BigBassBob
I've tried it with an active and a passive. Excellent results both time
Kev
I feared you may say that! So tempting to order, wish I had ordered one the same time as the b7K now, can't justify US shipping costs twice On a related note, Prymaxe have a 20% sale at the moment! as opposed to the usual 15%. Makes things much cheaper, even with duty/vat added.

bassmayhem
This is my pedalboard as for now: I also added a Voodoo Lab Mondo underneath it since I took the pic. The short flat patch cables are EBS new stuff. They save a lot of space. Edited January 5, 2014 by bassmayhem

lefrash
My most up to date and possibly final version for a while. Bass -> oc3 -> zoom (in the blended fx loop bass synth wah -> MD2 -> fredericks fuzz) -> amp I use the zoom for tuner/ compressor/ whammy / phaser / tap delay/ vibe / amp SIM and to turn fx loop on and off. All within one patch. Pretty amazing really! Edited January 14, 2014 by lefrash
It's the minifooger boost pedal, just for a wee tickle. Havent tried the drive as there's already too much filth on the board. The boost is quite nice tho. I just changed to a boogie big block head which has a boost/OD channel so I might not need it anymore.

tonyxtiger
It's fantastic. The distortion is really fat and the Rat is the first really usable one I've had. In the past I always found unless the rat goes into the front of a full valve amp it sounds bad. This one works on hybrids too. The LPFs are the secret weapon I think. It seems Tom can make better pedals on his kitchen table than the big companies, for less money, simply by giving a f*ck about the end product and how it will actually work live, in a room, with a band. Not in a bedroom on a youtube clip. How's yours?
bakerster135
Totally agree! I think it's the fact that he puts serious time into testing, and it helps that he's a bass player too! I had him put a socket in for the op amp on my TK-421 so I can swap them around, but there's just something about the inherent tone that I love. I've had the clean blend and LPF put in, but find I'm actually using it more full on. It certainly holds the low end well enough! I've got a Darklighter on the other side, running at 18v. I originally intended for it to replace my mosfet Bassdrive, but I much prefer its tone. Not tried a Knightfall yet, but I'm sure I will at some point! ... I bet that Tarkin/TK combination will sound incredible! Have you got any special stacking options on there? It's quite a ridiculous thing with COG, I find myself getting very excited about other people's builds!
