I'm in punk sounding heaven with this little board :-) the sparkle into the b3k is sublime. I took a chance on the nobles and im very happy with it, no low end loss and it can get super crunchy.

Simplified the board a bit for a busy weekend gig, also got around to finally getting rid of all the crap patch leads and put in some custom ones to make things a bit tidier

Current board... I use about 5 effects for a total of around 30 seconds throughout a 2 hour set so got the zoom and noose to cover that. MXR is next to get replaced, suggestions for a preamp with built in dirt as a second channel that doesn't scoop your mids as standard? If anyone is on the lookout for a cheap and cheerful power supply, I highly recommend the power plant from Thomann, total bargain at under £30.
Although I love my thomann power supply and my ms60b... I've found I need to use the double headed power socket. I use mine as a preamp, eq and noise gate which are akways on and after an hour it occasionally started to cut off and on. Im thinking it's to do with the juice not quite getting delivered.

The doubler fixed this though

Finally have a sorted out my first pedal board, has been gigged the past 2 weekends in some medium sized pub gigs and I can say that I am fairly happy with it. Although, the CS3 is away to be replaced with a better compressor and a Zoom MS60b is to be added.

Another change...

Not the most exciting board on here but boy does this combo sound good.

Excellent. Remain ever tempted to buy another Cali but just know I will sell it on again, like every bass compressor iv had! Polytune and Ultra on my board too, I'll rustle up a pic...

Update with Aguilar Chorusaurs:

And included the GigRig for power supply needs. Finally got round to affording this and was totally worth it:

Nice! How you finding the Ultra? Ive always been a B3K guy over the B7K, despite mainly having a B7K on the board but this thing kills both of them i'm finding, having the ability to cut some 500hz and the master volume has opened up a world of possibilities for me and i didnt expect to be blown away by the clean side to be honest but its pretty epic!

Interesting about the Cali, I sold mine to replace with a Super Symmetry, and sold that as ultimately I found it not to be needed as having the B7K almost always on gave me enough compression. I really want to try a tranny (oo er) version of the Cali now, and wouldn't mind giving the compact a run.

I have been a B7K man so this is an expansion on what I already know and love. I too am cutting mids slightly at 500hz which I find very useful with bass (100hz) boost as a clean preamp. Loving the extra features, and if you use it as a clean pre too I guess weirdly it is probably closer to owning a B3K than a B7K!

It's not available yet, prototype sent to me after a long running saga regarding an irepairable Super Fatman. It's a great filter with a ton of options, I'll do a full review at some point when I have the chance :)

That's precisely where it should go unless you want to sound like a cheap synthesiser! :)

Well, *cough*, it might seem as if things have gotten a bit out of hand, but I'm really enjoying this mess of a board.
It's feeding 3 rigs (simultaneously).

Signal chain:
Bass --> Meatbox
Meatbox wet --> Octamizer --> Agro --> rig 1.
Meatbox dry --> Dope Priest --> Bluebeard --> Big Spider --> BEAST --> Megalith clone --> Flanger --> RM-1N --> Echo Degrader --> DD7
DD7 A --> Bass Bloom --> Incinerator --> (more pedals on another board) --> rig 2.
DD7 B --> Decomposer --> Hyperfuzz --> Youth Chaos/Clock Noise --> (more pedals on another board) --> rig 3.

You run the meatbox wet into an octaver? Have you had the structural integrity of your house assessed recently?

Also, so many tasty fuzzes, and a lot of niche/crazy stuff, I like.

Cheers!

Well, our practice room was built to survive World War III, it's an atomic shelter thing, underground, so no problems with walls falling down.
Everything else is vibrating though.
And I use the Meatbox for sub frequencies only, the octave on it is rolled back.
Rig 1 has an Acoustic 301 (18" folded horn), that cab is fine with those pedals.
