neepheid
A couple of additions necessitated a wee rearrange of things on my wee pedalboard. Please excuse the massive interconnects, they're the only ones I could find right now - will replace with wee pancake ones when I get them... Path is TU-2 > Hotone Harmony > Bass Sweeper > Bass Synth Wah > comp > Monomyth

Sibob
Ok, this board can be signed off as done now. Changes from last time are the Cog 66 and TC Corona being replaced with a Schu-Tone ‘FLOverdrive’ (BB Bass Preamp clone), and a Schu-Tone ‘Finn Chorus’…both named for my kids. Add a couple of Barefoot Button Tallboys to make the switching more reasonable in the cramped conditions…plus a stacked Mooer switch topper for the tuner. The Barefoot buttons were necessary due to the Mooers not fitting the smaller SPST switches on the Schu-Tones…relay switching and all that. All on a PT Nano, powered by a Cioks Sol. Cheers Si Edited October 30 by Sibob

Rosie C
OK, it isn't a bass pedalboard, instead it's for vocal and two mandolins. But with the arrival of an XLR patch lead from @Chienmortbb today, I finished it and I'm pretty pleased with it. Mostly plywood construction, set into the lid of an aluminium case. As with my bass pedalboard it runs from a Screwfix Erbauer cordless drill battery - about 6 hours from a 4Ah battery. The "MicMute" is new (since moving to a headset mic I can't just turn away from the mic) and there wasn't space on my old pedal board for it. The first version was flat, and I couldn't easily tap the pedals on the back row, so I made an angled plywood shelf. The shelf also helped hide the cabling and power distribution. The missing gap is in the hope that Santy Claws brings a Joyo "Oxford Sound" pedal 🤞 so I can take the mandolin straight into our PA rather than via my Orange amp.

Your woodworking skills are better than mine. I built a similar pedal board during . lockdown but left it a little rough. I recently bought some brackets from eBay that are 3d printed so watch out for a new board shortly. I am glad you liked the cable.
neepheid
A bit of cable tidy up, only a couple of bulky connectors to go... also got some of those footswitch topper things - makes pressing those upper two way easier!

Steve Browning
I'm a bit of a fraud really. My board carries just my switcher (choosing between a passive fretted and active fretless - though not on this gig) and the tuner. No effects I'm afraid.
jimbobothy
… think my first board was a Nano with a tuner, radial big shot I/o instrument selector (similar to your one) and a DI. Nice and simple but worked as it should. At the moment I’m preferring smaller boards also tbh 👍🏻 Edited November 5 by jimbobothy
Rosie C
An ebay buy - a CS-3 compressor to add to my bass pedalboard. Still quite minimal but it does what I need. Edited Monday at 15:47 by Rosie C

Looks great Rosie! Are those the EBS flat patch cables? I was thinking about getting some of those as I've got some cheapie Amazon jobs at the moment and the connectors are quite bulky. They exist in 3 or 4 different lengths. Longtime use and still heard no funny noises ( except me playing ) 💥🎸 1
vbance
Added some Barefoot Buttons last week, should have done this a long time ago, excellent comfort for at home whilst in socks and so much easier to select at practice and gig situation. I'm having to have a go at backing vocals whilst switching and was struggling at times. At home practice I tended to switch pedals by hand or have to put me trainers on, SWMBO was never happy about that 😆 Edited November 7 by vbance resize images

I find them much easier to route, and on my other pedalboard they make the difference between 4 or 5 Boss pedals across. It's maybe not as neat as it looks, as much of it is hiding in a hole cut into the pedal board. But is one of these - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07D8NTK6Y/ currently out of stock but there are other similar ones. It takes in 18v and provides a bunch of 9v outputs. Here's a couple of photos from when I first built it where you can see the size of it...
Bagman
I'm really liking the SGFX/Diamond Bass Comp EQ I thought the BCP-1 was the tops but this is an upgrade.
Salt on your Bass? Posted Saturday at 07:36 Share Posted Saturday at 07:36 Updated my mini board already having built it about two weeks ago and haven't taken it anywhere ... Couldn't resist grabbing the cog hellraiser so will now see what this is like at volume over the next few weeks. Bedroom levels it sounds wicked. The cog is a monster of a pedal ✌️
bnt Posted Saturday at 14:28 Share Posted Saturday at 14:28 (edited) I thought I was building a mini board for mainly Bass VI, but I can fit on more mini pedals than I thought I could. On the way, it's turned in to an "affordaboard" where I'm trying out cheap mini pedals: Changes since the previous iteration: Boss MD-200 replaced by my Lekato Loop Auto and a new Donner Mod Square II. Not the greatest modulation effects but I'm not a heavy modulation user. I've never had a Flanger before, and am trying that at the moment: Flanger I is milder than Flanger II etc. The legends don't align with the knob and it's more "set & forget" for a bit of flavour. I did a NBD post about the NUX Sculpture, which I quite like so far. Very clean in Normal Mode, definitely provides smooth sustain. I haven't felt the need to dial back the Blend, on full it's not taking anything away. The Clip mode is mild and wouldn't even be called "overdrive": it colours the sound slightly, at least the way I have it all set. Could be handy in combination with the Mosky Silver Horse also doing a mild overdrive. The ToneX One pedal is still great, I currently have The Fridge (Ampeg SVT) and a Fender Bassman into 1x15" as the two switchable preset models. I won't use this if hook the board to an amp. I'm having problems with my IK Product Manager account, though: it's lost the pedal registration and so won't let me use the Librarian any more to load the pedal. I'm on to support, will see what they say. What next? I might put the Mooer Soul Shiver back on as a second modulation stage. Or I might look for a mini octaver for the space up front, though I don't think octave works as well on Bass VI. I might put the larger T-Rex Diva Drive on this board in place of the Fuzz. The Marks & Spencer Curiously Strong Mints tin for plectrums doesn't really fit. How am I supposed to show off my middle class credentials if I can't have that? Gank Bass Posted Sunday at 17:52 Share Posted Sunday at 17:52 My main board for weddings and other events Shure wireless goes into a Broughton HPF (underneath) then to the dyna-saur. The signal them splits (underneath again) with a JHS splitter with a clean signal going to a Harley Benton Magnum DI to front of house and our IEMs, another signal path goes to the MXR octave, bass crybaby (with custom edge lord graphics) mxr el grande fuzz, way huge pork loin for grit and the dark glass for when things get a bit silly! This all gets sent to my Aguilar Ag700 straight into the ears, cockles and sub-cockle regions of pissed up party goers We do a wide range of covers and so far it's ticked all the boxes. Love temple audio boards but but the mounting plate system is totally over engineered in my opinion so it's long been swapped for 3M dual lock
Gank Bass Posted Sunday at 18:44 Share Posted Sunday at 18:44 Board no. 2 for rehearsals and smaller settings is still a work in progress. The only pedals on here I'm 100% happy with are the tuner and the Melvin Lee, I'd consider the comp and dim-glass as placeholders. The positive is the top level metalworking that went into dremel-ing out a kettle lead plug into the rockboard!
