Kev
Just a quickie... For reasons unknown (anyone care to enlighten?), Tecamp Puma heads were not fitted with a ground switch for their DI. First time I have come across that. With my equipment, there is a ground hum and I cannot DI out without the ground being lifted. Would this do the trick, without sacrificing sound quality? obbm
Yes that would achieve it or make yourself a very short XLR-F to XLR-M cable and not connect pin#1.

hen barn
Hi , did this work? I have the same problem with my tecamp puma 900. I have a short lead going to my mixer. Is it as simple as unsoldering pin 1?
itu
Yes, 1 is the ground. Check that the shield is not connected to 1. 2 = hot, 3 = cold.
