6feet7 Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 (edited) Fender Squier Pro-Tone 5 string Precision Bass Apart from some tarnishing of the gold around the high-mass bridge, the guitar is in immaculate condition (with no major scratches, dings or fretwear), weighs about 8½ lbs on the bathroom scales and plays beautifully. I'm afraid there is no case or bag but I'll include a leather strap. From the internet: One of the eleven Fender Squier Pro-Tone models produced in Korea between 1996 and 1998, this is the 5-String Precision bass in red, with gold hardware and rosewood neck. The Fender Corporation discontinued the Squier Pro-Tone range shortly afterwards, as it was seriously undermining sales of US-built Fenders, due to the quality of materials used and the high standards of build in Korea (many were built in the Cort factory). Since then, the Pro Tone series has become something of a collector's item in Europe and the US.
