Hi all
Considering getting my first foray into bass Fx and weighing up,the options on these two multi-effect beauties. Can anyone share pros/cons or experiences - good or bad with either box please?

I have no experience with the Digitech, however, the B3 has a lot of friends on here, and for good reason. Easy to use, sounds good and built to last. Add in the Expression Pedal and it's pretty versatile too whether you use it in front of an amp or as an amp modeller/DI box. It's got a USB port, so you can plug it into your PC as a soundcard for a DAW, or download Zoom's Editor software to play about with your patches.

The downside is that it's a bit limited if you want more than 3 effects at once.

It deserves a B3x or a B5 version, but this is highly unlikely.

Can't beat the b3 in my opinion. Has all the functionality for home practice but is also very giggable. .. which I did do.

I've never tried the digitech but if I needed another multifx of be going straight for a b3.

B3 always...or the cheaper MS60B (also Zoom).
B3 is pretty cheap, it teaches you all you want to know about various effects, how they sound mixed together - and there are the amp simulations.
Then you get a looper, a drum machine and a tuner.
Last it works like an external sound card, so you can connect it to your conputer via USB, and pray/practice/record you bass on the computer.
I would buy another B3 in a second, if mine got lost.
