Chiliwailer
There are worse addictions mate, and generally GAS if done sensibly is a zero sum game
Better avoid that custom made bass cash loss kiss of death then! EliasMooseblaster
Yes, the 'one more hit' sub category of GAS
Well, since that last post, I got my "one more hit!" Finally pulled the trigger on that Tony Franklin fretless (NBD thread here) so I think...at least for now...I can change my vote to "GES." (Am I in denial? Probably, but I'm glad I've scratched the itch for now...)

Vinny
Which is the 'can't afford gear because band member' option?

thegummy
I had GAS for a P-Bass but I've cured myself of it by installing a series switch in my Jazz. Only time will tell if the PBAS comes back
CamdenRob
I had GAS for a P-Bass but I've cured myself of it by installing a series switch in my Jazz. Only time will tell if the PBAS comes back
inevitably it will... P bass GAS is a permanent condition... I have absolutely no need for a P bass and yet when I sold my last one I felt a bit odd not owning one. So despite still having no practical use for one I now have another ... It's a great bass though Edited August 13, 2016 by CamdenRob
lowhand_mike
GIS for me, unlike some fortunate folk on here i really dont have the money to play with GAS and the gear i have does what i need it to do it just i would love a better cab(s) and even though my newest bass is amazing there are others i would also love.
