I've been trying to get a B/F vintage style cab, now got one
These excellent light weight bass cabs are up for sale.
There will be a video (no 2 ) on the following link.
These cabs are VERY SCRUFFY! but perfectly giggable. As in this Sat night :D Lots of surface scuffs and little nicks in the finish.
Not available until Monday

Light weight 12" cabs that can have NO problems with mic'd up drummers.

Thanks Andy, sorry, I'm always a little critical of condition of my gear.

Only going because a new project demands something vintage looking :P (as in cloth fronted). Suppose a Barefaced will suffice :mellow:

Very tempted with these. I have just purchased a Markbass LM III and I'm currently putting it through two Ashdown ABM compact cabs
1x15" and a 2x10 Both 300watt 8 ohm. I really want some quality front ported lightweight cabs. How would these compare to the Ashdowns.
I'm guessing by the price they are budget cabs otherwise you would be asking a lot more for them. What drivers do Genz Use and
do these piss all over the Ashdowns???

I've not used the Ashdowns I'm afraid.
No idea what the speakers are, except they are ceramic. Not much use am I .
There are quite a few testimonials from users on the Bass Direct site. The 112T's were showing at a price of £339 each, so yes, budget for Genz Benz at the time.
But for the scuffs and nicks I would have been asking north of £300 for them.
They do not come up very often at all.

There is the script below (I've culled some of the talk about heads).

What really blew me away were the Focus cabs. They sounded like they belonged in a much higher price range, and the light weight and form factor was very nice. We ended up giving Genz-Benz one of our six Best of Show Awards for the Focus line of cabs, and I think they totally deserved it."
