SOLD: Michael Messer Blues resonator
£450

Recommended Posts

I’m reluctantly selling my Michael Messer Blues 14 fret steel bodied resonator. It sounds absolutely incredible and is set-up for hybrid styles in open G tuning (DGDGBD). It is fitted with Newtone National Michael Messer phosphor bronze 13-56 strings. The original biscuit has been replaced with a National Resophonic one as these are slightly better. I have not replaced the original hand-spun Continental cone as these are very high quality cones that sound every bit as good as National ones. The original tailpiece has been replaced with a short one supplied by Michael Messer to get a slightly better break angle. The original tailpiece is included. The guitar has some marks but nothing serious. Most importantly it plays extremely well and the tone is beautiful. It comes complete with a Pod style foam case. SOLD ono collected from Beccles, Suffolk. I could post.
