Mykesbass
I'm using up to date Opera browser and up to date Flash Player, and yet only on Basschat embedded videos are not loading. Only happened a couple of days ago. Anyone else experiencing similar issues before I install a second browser? Thanks, Mike
Luulox
I'm on opera mobile and also cannot see embedded videos.
72deluxe
If you paste the url in from YouTube, they add the s to the http so it reads https. Seems the bass chat system doesn't like that, so try removing the s so it just starts with http.

BigRedX
I'm having the same problem with IE11, just get this... (above is a .jpg not a video)
I'm getting the same on both my Macs - Safari under El Capitan. Only started happening in the last few days. I wonder if YouTube have changed something?
icastle
Well if it's happening on IE11 and Opera, it seems likely to be something that YouTube have done. Certainly we've made no changes this end.

wateroftyne
Ah - just done a bit of digging and there's a suggestion that embedding via <object> has been switched off... iframe needs to be used instead. Seems a bit severe if true..
BigRedX
A quick Google shows that it's affecting lots of other forums, so almost definitely something that YouTube have changed that has broken the current way of embedding videos in forum posts. The one workaround I've seen posted (using the "youtube2" tag) doesn't work here as I guess it requires some back-end tinkering of the forum software. MacDaddy
I'm using a Kindle Fire, and embedded YouTube videos (have always) take me to a blank page. :-(

I installed Dolphin browser, and installed Flash. Sorted You'll need to get the .apk's from elsewhere though - they're not in the Amazon app store.
