as i couldn't sell this bass i decided to keep it & bling it up a tad & string it with my favourite strings (EB group IV flats = yummy).
all hardware came from W.D. music appart from the string tree(ebay) & the s' plate (fender)
sorry about the sh*te photos i think my camera is buggered.





i'm well impressed with the bridge(Gotoh 201) & the tuners (Gotoh reverse units) much better quality than standard Fender stuff (even MIA stuff).
all in all it cost me just under £200 & i think it was well worth it + it's had a perfect setup (by yours truly) & plays absolutley beautiful.infact one of the best playing P basses i've ever owned.
it's a keeper now i reckon.

That looks really great! I'm planning something similar with my Mexican Precision, but it's going to be more sound-based than cosmetic.

I particularly like the tuners with the longer shafts. Very 70's look about those :)
