drums1977 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 For sale this incredible sounding and playing Fender Jazz Bass from 1977. Original custom finish in the highly seeked, classic 70s, mocha brown, also called "walnut" I believe. Beautiful natural relic. Lovely maple neck with white blocks and binding. This bass plays like a dream with very low action and no buzzing. The PUs sound just insane. Really, probably the best sounding Jazz Bass I have owned. Weight is light for a 70s Fender at 4,2 kg, perfectly balanced. To my knowledge everything is original to the bass, except the Badass bridge. Original bridge is included and seems good (I have hever installed it myself). Original period correct hard shell case included, quite beaten up but fully working (even the latches). Also a transparent PG included, in case you want to go for the full 70s look. Price is 2200 EUR. drums1977 Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 Everyone seems to want this bass, but no one dares take it. I just added photos of the pickups, stamped late december 1976. The output is strong and they sound thunderous. Also added pics of the case. Some may be happy to see this bass seems to have belonged to a legendary San Francisco punk band

CH161 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I'm guessing by the profile pic...a 5 string player?
SisterAbdullahX Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 I've told my wife to buy this for my 50th birthday. Unfortunately, I'm not 50 till next year! So, if this sells before then you must promise to let me know who the buyer is so I can hound them to sell it to me next year!
