That's really sad , and again , way too young .

I didn't know anything about his other work , but listened to the Fabulous Thunderbirds a fair bit around his time with them .

I'd only recently heard of the Preston and Fabulous Thunderbirds, through a thread on here, I believe.

Prez picked up in the Fabulous Thunderbirds where the amazing and also departed Keith Ferguson left off - that band really did have the cream of blues bass players!

His more recent stuff with Los Carnales was great, electric and upright playing. A real character that will be sorely missed.
