I'm aware I've posted this before but someone had this live Donny album on at his house. First off Doñny has the best voice of any singer ever imo. One of the best live albums ever.
Most people talk about the solo on the Everything is Everything but the whole album is an example of superb bass playing.
I love the groove on The Ghetto.

Donny Hathaway Live is my favorite album. But keep in mind it's a compilation of at least 2 different shows and there's a ton of editing.

I'm not sure "Jealous Guy" is completely live.

If I remember correctly, he has been quoted several times in saying that Jamerson was one of his major influences. He was also on the accompanying CD on the Standing in The Shadows of Motown book about Jamerson.

I love the DH Live album. I have worn it out listening to it many times! Willie's little fills and grooves are fantastic, especially on the track you posted.
