Bass ID please

Do you know anything about the bass? It looks like it could be a hand built bass to me, perhaps a local luthier who did a few in a certain area, we had a builder in the Northampton area who built similar styled basses back in the eighties under the name Adam Thompson, I had a lovely fretless which was great other than it was too big to fit in any bass case I ever came across!

Sorry no I know nothing about the bass, it turned up in the g/f's old pics (she couldn't resist bass players even back then). Taken in Gosport around '99.

The headstock has a bit of an Aria look to it.

The body has something about it that makes me think maybe Washburn but just a vague thought.

After a quick Google Search it's not too different (although clearly not quite the same) from this Washburn XB102.
Of course it could just be what made me think of Washburn though rather than actually being anything to do with the bass in the pic.

The body made me think Carvin. The headstock didn't.

Looking again the headstock is more Washburn than Aria as it's not symetrical.
