ivok80 Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 (edited) Selling my Fender Kubicki preamp which was the original stock preamp in my Fender Jazz Bass Plus (forerunner of the Jazz Bass Deluxe) Philip Kubicki developed this preamp for Fender in the late 80s and it does sound phenomenal. It's a standard 9 volt active pre-amp. Controls are stacked volume and tone knobs, and a 4-way selector (black replacement knob - see picture) that works as follows: passive/active/active with boost and standby (off).
