jimbartlett Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Apart from flat wound string and a bridge/pickup cover, does anyone know the difference between their Detroit Bass and Power Bass? Does anyone own one or tried one and how do they compare to a Fender? HowieBass Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 The description for the Power Bass states "The Power's familiar offset body has been reduced by 4mm overall" so maybe the Detroit Bass has a standard size P bass body? Quote
jimbartlett Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 Ah, maybe that's it then! Thanks! Quote
Skybone Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Shame they don't do the "California" any more. Quote
jimbartlett Posted August 26, 2016 Author Posted August 26, 2016 Was that the Rickenbacker version? Quote
Skybone Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 It was indeed. A sensibly priced replica with a few variations, but viable for the terminally skint bassist. Quote
