Ashborygirl Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) Right, after a lot of correspondence I have persuaded the nice people at Status to break a few rules & build me something they haven't done before. Trouble is it is going to cost, a lot. I could wack on a load of debt but that makes me nervous, so I need to sell on this wonderful Dingwall that I got from Neil Murray a couple of weeks back. It is a magnificent instrument, I love it but I just can't afford to do the Status & keep my current squeezes. The bass is as Neil described it, save for the addition of a set of Chromes. It sounds phenomenal, tight & defined, not a duff tone to be had anywhere. It plays superbly, the neck is sumptuous & the build quality as good as it gets. Comes with the Levys/Dingwall gig bag & all the tools & paperwork. I spoke to Dingwall a couple of weeks ago & they quoted me £3675 for a new build with this spec. Neil sold it to me for £1250 & that is all I am asking for it now. At the price it is the best Dingwall deal you will ever find, you can't buy a new NG2 for this. Collection from Middlesbrough welcome, I can ship though at your expense/risk. krispn Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Is it still active only and what would be involved in active/passive conversion?
Ashborygirl Posted August 29, 2016 Author Posted August 29, 2016 It is still active only. I would imagine a simple toggle or push-pull to by-bass the EQ should be all that is required, but the Glock is so transparent that even I like it. And I hate active EQ.
