FEELER - For sale 1974 Fender Jazz bass £1600

A strong feeler to gauge interest in my 1974 Fender Jazz bass.

I bought this a few years ago from Karlfer of here and it is an absolute beauty of a jazz bass but please note it has been stripped of it's original colour at some point in it's life and is a proper player and not a museum piece to look at!

There are some dings and marks on the neck and it's been well played but it nothing out of the ordinary for a bass that is 42 years old.

It's very light for a jazz bass (9.5 Ilbs) but has a super fast neck and a tone to die for. It could probably do with a re-fret if you are very particular but to my mind it still plays beautifully.

I have changed the pre-amp for an East J-Retro Deluxe but still have the original and also the bridge pick up cover and a Fender hard case in tweed.

I love the sound from this bass, it does Marcus to a tee and the only reason that I am thinking of selling is to fund a 5 string jazz type bass as I can't play 4 strings anymore and this bass is just not getting the use that it should have.

Over 6.5 years to be precise Mark, Jan 2010.

I gigged this wonderful bass for 17 years. Wish I could afford to buy her back, but sadly that won't happen at the moment.

Somebody will be getting the best bass I've ever had.
