'08 German built Warwick Corvette $$ for sale, upgraded with brass J.A.N III and Schaller straplocks

This is a killer and super versatile bass thanks to the coil taps and the active/passive switching and the active preamp.

Try before you buy is welcome and recommended, Can deliver for petrol money within 50mile radius of DY3 West Mids.

No trades thanks, I am trying to thin the herd!

Shipping available within mainland UK – will be shipped in a hardcase with plenty of extra packaging.

UK mainland shopping, with insurance will be £25.

I know I am new here but I have been buying and selling on ebay for 10 years with 100% feedback over 500+ transactions so like to think I am pretty reliable in my descriptions when selling - check out my profile on ebay - justmyfourstringsandme

Features:

Select swamp ash body

Corvette body shape

Ovangkol neck

Dual MEC humbuckers

3-way coil tap switches for hum cancelling, single coil, or parallel/series pickup operation

Bell brass frets

High-quality components
The good:

It's a German built Warwick Corvette $$!

The nut has been upgraded to a brass Warwick Just A Nut III

The straplocks have been upgraded to Schaller

Fretboard and frets have been cleaned and oiled/polished respectively.

All hardware and electronics are original and function perfectly, with the exception of the upgraded straplocks, nut and the volume pot(see below)

Excellent cosmetic condition – one or two very minor marks but with a swamp ash body this is almost impossible to avoid
The not so good:

When I bought the bass it wasn't in the best shape cosmetically so I have refinished the bass using the same finish that Warwick use in their factory – they call it "natural oil" but if you read up on this it is actually a melted wax that they use instead of oil.
As you can see from the photos, I would like to think I have done a pretty decent job of refinishing it but there are some minor things worth noting(I want to be as honest as possible here as that is how I like to do business):

The neck socket is not completely flush with the sides of the neck – doesn't seem to effect sustain at all

There is minor discolouration either side of the neck from the refinishing – not always noticeable, certainly not in playing position, but worth mentioning.

There are some minor white marks on the plastic cavity cover – ive tried removing them but cant.

The cavity cover is not 100% flush with the body – see photo

There is some minor discolouration to the black headstock

The volume pot has a problem where by it outputs zero volume for a very small range of it's motion – from where 95% volume to 85% volume should be, there is no output at all – in both active and passive modes. Ideally the volume pot needs replacing but Warwick want silly money for one and realistically, if you just leave the volume on max or <85%, you wont have a problem.

So what we've got here is a German built Warwick $$ with some very nice upgrades and in very good nick but with some minor cosmetic issues and a slightly dodgy volume pot.Ive taken all this into account when setting the asking price, which includes a cheap but perfectly serviceable hardcase.
