You mean all those hours I spent learning to hit the strings cleanly and quickly with my thumb could have been spent learning to do the same job with a tiny hammer?

They should make it from glow in the dark plastic because there's absolutely no chance you'd be scrabbling all over a darkened stage at a gig trying to find it after it flew out from between your fingers...

It's closer to the things they use for hammered dulcimer than to the Funk Fingers. But those have been around even longer! Still, they raised $34,000 on Kickstarter, so I guess somebody must be excited about the idea.

Matthew Seligman used a teaspoon back in the late seventies. Cheaper and easy to replace if stolen.
Sounded very nice indeed when he did it.
I sounded like an explosion in a cutlery drawer.....
