Yarr. I think he's a terrific metal player, and I'd bet decent money that he can do a lot more. A real student of the bass, and he got a terrible time from many quarters for not being as flash or flamboyant as Cliff. Proper gearhead, too.

Metallica's best sounding bass player by a country mile, some nice fretless lines tucked away in there too. Mind you I bet even I would struggle to make his gear sound bad!

I always liked his playing, especially when he started becoming more audible in the mix. I would like to hear a properly remixed version of And Justice For All.

That's the best I've come across so far, the bass isn't overpowering but there's only so many of the original bass tracks that have been released. I'm pretty sure they'll do an official one soon, they've done Kill Em All and Ride The Lightning pretty recently... one can but hope
