Funky Dunky
Yarr. I think he's a terrific metal player, and I'd bet decent money that he can do a lot more. A real student of the bass, and he got a terrible time from many quarters for not being as flash or flamboyant as Cliff. Proper gearhead, too. lemmywinks
Metallica's best sounding bass player by a country mile, some nice fretless lines tucked away in there too. Mind you I bet even I would struggle to make his gear sound bad!
Graham
My favorite Metallica bassist, had the best lines IMO I'm not sure I'd trust that first site the OP linked to, under the Rob Trujillo section, they left off the Fernandes Gravity he's playing in the picture of him............... Skybone
He was better in Flotsam & Voivod than Metallica, you could actually hear him playing.
thodrik
I always liked his playing, especially when he started becoming more audible in the mix. I would like to hear a properly remixed version of And Justice For All.

I'm pretty sure they'll do an official one soon, they've done Kill Em All and Ride The Lightning pretty recently... one can but hope
