Kevin Dean
I use one in my Flat for practice , I connect my laptop to it along with my Gr55 playing synth sounds & it works for me . I originally got it thinking I could use it as a monitor but I found if you turn the volume up it also increases the DI level making it unpractical . JapanAxe
I have tried it at home with my nylon-string electro-acoustic and it worked very well. I would certainly use that setup for an acoustic gig. Haven't tried it with steel-string acoustic yet.

Kev
It is certainly voiced for bass so you will lose highs. Music certainly sounds darker through the aux, but you may get away with it
