drums: EZ Drummer layered on y me from Novation Impulse pads

bass: 3 tracks, all Wal, 2 with Supercharger compression, 3 leaf envelope follower, some delay and notched eq, one octaved up with "beat repeat" fx

keys: Novation glitch moog, EZ keys funky clavinet, Novation grand piano with varying levels of reverb/delay

Here's my attempt - apologies as usual for the feeble attempts at vocals and lyrics.

I'll be honest - I didn't actually notice there were two pictures until far too late so I've just worked from the first picture from which I got a punk vibe ( I don't know why!).I see I've gone a very different direction to the others so far (nice work btw!) - oh well, variety is the spice of life etc! :-P

Mine is up now , I didnt go for a wordy lyric but tried to use some sound samples to tell the story , the daughters idea to be honest , but I think it fills the space a lot better than any of my singing would do

Hi all, stumbled upon thread this while looking for some advice on recording. Thought I'd have a go, it's my first effort, pretty new to recording but here is my effort:

I've just uploaded a little tweak to mine. I've reduced the volume of one of the synths in the first half and turned down one of the female choirs in the second half. I also turned up the orchestral percussion near the end a bit. It's a little more balanced now I think.

I won't be entering this month - first time EVER. Just back from overseas (literally in cab home as I type...) and won't have time to write/record anything at this late hour.

I have however been busy elsewhere and can hopefully share the results of some of that soon
