Hartke 410 XL Question

I use one of the original 410XL's from the 80's and have been very happy with it..I notice that nowadays these can be bought new for around £300, as opposed to nearly £800 back in the day. Is there any difference in quality between my 80 s cab and the newer cheaper ones?...I'm a bit gutted TBH !
Any info would be most welcome.

I imagine its same as any product cycle, people pay more for new models, then they reduce prices on older items to shift the stock.
My hartke cabs are very sturdy, all good quality fixings and wiring. Probably about 7 yrs old now and never had any issues.

BTW the rewiring job on the 4 x 10 worked fine, it is now a 2-channel 4 ohm 2 x 2 x 10 cab. With a simple y-cable wired Series plugged into both rear inputs it reverts back again to an 8 ohm 4 x 10.

I've seen them sold on here for £100. Mine has had a life and a half, bought, used as a rental cab, left in a garage for years, then I gigged it constantly up against Marshalls for years, and for the last 10 years of that it has been thrashed by teenagers in my classroom. Works perfectly, sounds great. (Just weighs as much as Endor)

I used to own 90's made 410XL and 115XL. Back then the hartke cabs were made in the USA which I guess was the main reason for the higher prices. Had mine for 15 years through house moves, storage in the garage for baby breaks and always worked like new. I have a real soft spot for those cabs but don't miss the weight!
