I think his work is the most sophisticated Prog out there. Olias, Animation and Song of Seven are genius and his contribution to Yes was, for me, THE defining element. Anderson IS prog rock.

From what I understand, their bass chair will be filled by the seemingly ubiquitous Lee Pomeroy. The guy's CV just keeps getting better. I've said it before and I'll say it again... he's living MY dream.
