So I own a rather lovely 2009 Mayones Victorious Classic 5 string with all the bells and whistles..Barts, OBP-3...Schallers....but a bloke has offered me a Dingwall AB1 as a straight swap, I love the fanned frets as I've owned a Z3 in the past. Is this a worthwhile trade? I'm very tempted but I want a few opinions before I bite the bullet!

They're probably pretty close in terms of value so it's really down to whether you want a change?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I'm fancying something new that's why I'm quite tempted! I did own an AB1 with a Bubinga top a while ago, i loved the thing...

To be honest I don't know why I moved away from them, went back to Musicman for a while, traded my stingray for this lovely Mayo but I still miss the Fanned frets if I'm honest!

I did do, I must say though, he'd mistreated this poor AB1, the truss rod was locked up with something that looked like car polish, the frets were green and the battery hadn't been changed since 2012!
