I can get on the bathroom scales if necessary! Do you want the guitar weight or the shipping weight including case?

Google says 4.2 kilos (9lb 5oz) for the guitar. However it doesn't feel heavy next to my Warwick. Perfectly balanced.

It's a bit heavy for me I'm afraid. My SR5 weighs about 8 lbs and I'm looking for a Stingray 4 in the same range to replace it.

I hear you about the weight, but I have three 5 strings and they are all heavier. That aside, I never really noticed the weight of the stingray because the balance is really good - probably the best I've had.
