Any love in here for the Yamaha TRBX305?

Im thinking of trading a 4 string Jackson Kelly Bird for one of the above as the band currently requires a low B string and theres no way im taking my Alpher to some of the venues ive played so whats peoples opinion on the Yamaha?

No experience of them. But, it is a Yamaha and Miki Santamaria on YouTube seems to like them, they look great too. I'd like to try one.

I've reviewed the 304 and on eof my students has one too. Gotta say, for the money, it's a great bass. I expect the 5 to be more of the same, though I haven't tried one.

I had the 304 and it's great - very versatile and was my main gigging and recording bass for a whole year. Dyerseve is selling one over in the classifieds for £175. Drop him a PM!

I owned one and thought it was excellent. The build quality was very good indeed.

I picked one up today, first impressions are good, its got a wide range of tones and a pretty decent neck. Im happy so far.

Ive owned one and it had a great range of tones a very versatile bass with a comfortable neck. Plus its a Yammie they don't do poor quality
