Hello from new member

Just wanted to say hello to all and looking forward to getting involved in discussions and having a laugh, very new to playing so needing to learn the basics of setting up and playing, always willing to take advice and have an open mind (my wife says empty headed), I've a Bass guitar, which was given to me by a friend of unknown manufacture but looks like a Fender Jazz imitation, needs new strings and I'd probably carry out a set up of action etc as it probably needs it, I enjoy fixing things myself so will probably be asking for advice from the members and experts on "Basschat" looking forward to starting to learn and play.
