mrtcat
As it says. Anyone else here at brooklyn bowl? Lovely small venue for a cool band.
RickyV
Don't. You're just rubbing it in now!!!

NickD
No... no I'm not. My office is slap-bang next to the 02, and I'm in there for lunch most days, yet by the time I found out about it the tickets had sold out. I must start walking around with my eyes open. Funky Dunky
Can you post a review? Would love to hear your thoughts on the gig. Edited September 16, 2016 by Funky Dunky
kodiakblair
Had to Google Vulfpeck. Jealous as hell now
mrtcat
I'll do a review tomorrow when I sober up a touch but have to say they were brilliant. All of the band are extremely talented guys who move seamlessly from one instrument to another. Joe Dart is a brilliant player but he plays entirely for the song and grooves so well. It was awesome to see the whole place bouncing and singing along to their stuff and even the band seemed genuinely surprised at just how popular they are. I get the feeling that Joe Dart may well become a first choice session player for really big names soon.
spiltmilk_2000
For me last nights show was an absolute game changer... Joe darts solos are of course gratuitous by nature but the groove NEVER suffers. Just as danceable as the rest of his playing. Not sure I'd ever be able to dance to a Wooten solo! ;-) However the vocal talent on show was what got me the most. I had an idea how good katzman and Stanley were but the warm up, joey Dosik, took me totally by surprise. Simply jaw dropping from start to finish. chris_b
I saw them on Thursday. What a great band. Joey Dosik left me cold except when he was playing with the band. I've never seen such a happy looking bunch of guys on a stage. They were having fun all night.
BigBeatNut
Joey Dosik opened with an acapella number on Saturday and had the audience in the palm of his hand from that moment on. Awesome voice, not the kind of thing I'd go out and buy however but a huge talent none the less. I was utterly gobsmacked by vulfpeck however ... exceeded expectations by a good margin
GisserD
I was utterly gobsmacked by vulfpeck however ... exceeded expectations by a good margin
i bigged them up so much prior to the gig that i was actually a little concerned that they might not live-up to expectations.... but i was entirely blown away. They were utterly mindblowing
Sammers
Totally agree with everyone, I'd hyped them up in my own head for the weeks leading up to it and they delivered on everything and more - without a doubt! I dragged along my brother who's not into their type of stuff at all and he really enjoyed it too. Really cool venue too I thought!
GisserD
yeah the venue is ACE!! best ive been to in a long time. drinks are PRICEY tho
Sammers
Prices didn't seem too bad, around £11/£12 for 2 pale ales. A few quid above going rate but expected at a place like that really, better than the usual Tuborg or Carsberg for a fiver I usually have to settle for at the B'ham o2 places! AntLockyer
Saturday was awesome. Surprised at the venue, little bit weird, little bit on the quiet side but tons of space on a sold out gig. The band were the best thing I've ever seen. We were there from not long gone 7 enjoyed the background music almost as much as the main event
chris_b
A sold out event has reached the safety limit set by the council and emergency services for that space.
Sibob
A sold out show also doesn't mean all the ticket buyers turned up Gutted I missed it, learned about it on the Friday daytime . Next time! Si
