Rick's Fine '52 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Thought some would appreciate this. The bass is rare enough, but that condition is stunning, what a fab bass, and the case lining equally as nice, would be like opening it from new again. gary mac Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Blimey that is amazing. Someone needs to give it the relic treatment Quote
Norm Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Or a least play the fekker! Thats been in an uncle's attic! Quote
SICbass Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 But it does raise the issue of when you could play it. I mean, an instrument should be played and all that, but I really would be afraid of damaging something like that on a gig. Quote
Owen Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 I have one of those and for years played it without the scratchplate (Jaco and all that) and I nearly binned the Chrome because "I just never use it". I am glad that I was too lazy to empty the drawer they were sitting in. Quote
