Thought some would appreciate this. The bass is rare enough, but that condition is stunning, what a fab bass, and the case lining equally as nice, would be like opening it from new again.

But it does raise the issue of when you could play it. I mean, an instrument should be played and all that, but I really would be afraid of damaging something like that on a gig.

I have one of those and for years played it without the scratchplate (Jaco and all that) and I nearly binned the Chrome because "I just never use it". I am glad that I was too lazy to empty the drawer they were sitting in.
