Looks like I'm going to need to get in contact. Just bought another TE combo but it's only the fan that's working - hoping that it will be a cost effective repair.

Spoke to Mal today, he's having the nerve to go on holiday for the first time in 4 years instead of fixing my amp - outrageous!! ;) ;)

Amp booked in for a couple of weeks time.

Collected my TE GP7 SM combo and Kawai F1B from Mal earlier today - The combo had shaken lose a connection and damaged one of the parts (sorry if I'm being too technical for you ;) ;) ) and the Kawai needed a pot replacing. Mal also serviced the amp while it was there. Both working fine now.

Total cost was £90 inc parts and labour - very reasonable in my mind.

Highly recommended - feel free to say I said so...

More work done by Mal - a couple of lose wires in my Bass Collection fretless - repaired while I waited (10 mins??) - cost a tenner...can't argue with that..I would never have figured it out.

My go to man for any electrical problems.
