I had one of these before I moved to Millennia - the DB680 is a staggering pre - beautiful if you're looking for valve tones (it took me a long time to realise that I wasn't!)

Yeah it's wonderful but I'm considering a Noble pre amp - have my whole rig on my pedal board type set up

What a coincidence - despite my recognition that I really prefer SS, I too have been thinking very seriously about a Noble to use with Fender style basses! I'll let you know if I pull the trigger (and the Agi 680 really is a tremendous pre in every way!)

Yeah the Noble looks pretty sweet and to have it on the pedal board I can just bring the power amp pedals and cab and have a massive sounding rig.
