Modify 6 string into bass

You have my permission to come and shoot me if this sounds ridiculous only messing. So it it possible to modify a 6 string into a 3/4 or even smaller bass guitar if I swaped out all the nessessary parts ???

New nut, bridge, tuners at the very least and I could imagine intonation issues? Interesting thought tho!

Possible in theory but I cant imagine any circumstances under which this would be a good idea in practical/cost terms.

or just buy a warmoth tele baritone neck and bridge and use it as a short scale?

Chris Squire took the top neck of bass ( originally a guitar) and turned it into a double course three string bass... very short scale and tuned A-G
