OLP MM2 upgrade

Has anyone tried to upgrade an MM2 to active with a decent pick up. I was just wondering if there is much work involved?

I did! All depends on the preamp size etc, I whacked a modified east u-retro into mine, meant a lot of routing and the addition of a battery box, but if youre confident with that then its doable
