Harmoniser - pitch shifter help please

Recommended Posts

Effects gurus your help is required.

I'm after a pedal that can play an interval above the note I'm playing.

Ideally I'd like something I can tailor how many semitones above my original note.

Good quality sound is important in this case so too good tracking of the original note. No real worry whether it's analogue or digital.

Any help and pointers gladly received.

Cheers
Thomas

I use the Pitch Fork too. You can select min/Maj 2 and Maj3, Perf 4 and 5, Maj6, min7, 1, 2 and 3 octaves above. You can also choose to have that note on its own or mix it in with the instrument tone. Faultless tracking too. The Boss harmoniser can also do that but can work within your own selected key.

Thank you all for the quick replies!

I'm going to have to test some in the flesh I feel.

Went for the pitchfork and gave it a quick test the other day -

Totally love it!
Can't wait to give it a whirl in a bigger space where my mic' won't pic up the amp signal and give crazy pitch shift feedback.

Hi Uzzell,
Thanks for the kind words!
Just noodling around there, but will certainly use ideas from on that in a new piece.

The m6, m3, m4 and detune settings are especially useful on the contrabassoon.

I'm looking forward to trying it as an octaver on my bass guitar too!

Thank you for the kind words Bartleby!
This EP is perhaps more similar to the stuff I'll be doing with the pitchfork -
