Sale is due to Apogee deeming this a 'legacy product' and not providing firmware updates for the latest Apple OS. WARNING: This is a fantastic audio interface but will NOT work with current Apple OS and some previous versions. If you're running a mac with an older OS (Mavericks or earlier) then this should work wonderfully as it did for me before I upgraded. This compatibility issue is reflected in the price, as is the cosmetic condition of the interface. Breakout cable is included, as is a firewire cable. lapolpora Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 It is a great interface...but before you sell in haste... What Mac OS are you running? I successfully use mine with a 2014 MacBook Pro running El Capitan with a thunderbolt to firewire adaptor.
