TheDaivisch
This the head unit only from a Genz Benz Contour 500-115 combo. The speaker was sold separately ages ago. Classic Class D Genz Benz tone. This is essentially a 500 watt version of a Shuttle with a FET preamp rather than tube - like a derated Shuttle Max without tube channel and millions of knobs.. Also has the benefit of the Contour knob (scoop/character knob) Lovely sounding and by no means budget sounding Genz amp. As light as you'd expect with a D class power section. With upgraded knobs for a smarter look, originals included. Excellent condition. No scratches/dings. Has four screw in the top which would enable it to be easily fitted into a case if you wanted... Dimensions = 42.5x24x6.5cm Weight is around 3kg. FEATURES • Full Featured FET Preamp Design • 300W @ 8 ohms; 500W @ 4 ohms • Class D Power Amp and SMPS • Gain and Volume Controls for a Wide Range of Gain Settings • L.F. and H.F., Shelving EQ Networks • Parametric Midrange Filter • Contour Tone-shaping Network • Input Mute • XLR Direct Output w/Ground Lift • Fan Cooling • Multi-layer Plywood Construction • Heavy-duty Molded Strap Handle • Heavy-duty Metal Perforated Grille • 3 Way Tweeter Edited November 30, 2016 by TheDaivisch
