Something just seems fishy about this.... I'm sure we all know this as the [b]USA Fender Marcus Miller Jazz bass 5 string [/b]. Yet the seller has no idea and has been passed down through the family (?) also sellers other items include new IPhone 6s and IPad, along with the new FIFA game....

It just doesn't add up.

I'm tempted to call "stolen" on this or at least a scam alert.

I've just noticed this one as well. Relisted and wants it gone by the weekend. I'm thinking stolen as well. Doesn't take much research to realise it's worth a lot more than he wants.

Decal also placed wrong.

I thought the same about the preamp, but the decal is correct for 2011. Looks like they moved it further down on the newer ones.

Yeah, it was only after having a look at a load of photos I noticed it was right for that year.

It looks fine to me, though odd that the guy doesn't know what it is.

The little metal cups the strings fit into will fall out when you take the strings off. The neck pocket will be cut too big, and will be lop-sided.

I had one, it was awful.

If it is stolen, it would seem strange that he didn't want to post it, and invited people round to his house to try it first, plus he has his great big mugshot in one of the pics.
And he didn't set an asking price, he put a reserve on it which was not reached, so he withdrew it, all pretty common practise really.
