What's this bass?

Headless bass, apparently has a maple body. Hardware is all unidentified - not ABM or Hipshot - but the bridge seems to match a few pictures of the sort of stuff you can get of eBay for about £10... Despite the centre strip I don't think it's a neck through as you can see on the second photo that the neck appears to mbe maple... could be wrong though

Thinking it's probably a one off custom job, but any info would be appreciated. Could buy it for £150 - about the right price?
Sorry pictures are so small, I did find another of similar size from a different source, but could just be the same bass...

Pretty sure these were being sold 5 - 10 years ago by EU-based sellers on Ebay, German I think but not quite sure. Probably would've been about £150 - £175ish new, likely Chinese-made at that sort of price.

I did think they were cool & sort of regret not grabbing one when I had the chance! Found some pics of what appears to be the same thing with a different-shaped body.

Bassassin - wow, thanks for the quick response, that's absolutely got to be it (or least the brand/style of, etc. ). Funnily enough, prefer the look of the one you found. If you're interested I'll PM you the link if you fancy picking this one up.

Go on then, send us the link! That said I'll likely talk myself out of buying it - got far too many basses not doing a great deal at the moment. But I do like that sort of Laurus-knockoff shape of that one...
