Owen
This is an exceptionally nice piece of kit but I have too many amps. Much as I would love to, I cannot keep everything. The EQ is really responsive in a useful, musical way. The dark/normal/bright switch is a lovely thing. I fancy keeping it, but I cannot keep everything (yes I am repeating that so that I remember). I will get some pics up later. For the SUPER anoraks in our midst you will recognise this is the exact wording I used last time I sold one. I bought another one and was hugely enjoying it but went to the DB Bash and tried something that I HAVE to have so this one is also out of the door. I have put a couple of new valves in CC81/12AT7-MULLARD (Mullard) and an ECC83-HARMA RETRO CRYO (Harma Cryo). I will do pics later. It has a fitted cover. BassBod
Oh yes, and I am very tempted. Very. One question - I only see one gain/volume control...so I'm assuming the input level is pre-set and you have control over the output volume of the power amp?
Correct, but rest assured there's plenty of headroom: it stays clean regardless of how hot the input signal is.
Owen
There is an internal trim pot for gain. I have messed with it but really just leave it alone as there is plenty of grunt on tap.
molan
Internal trim pot is usually set at a mid point so there's quite a lot of adjustment available.
This is correct, but I never felt the need to adjust it, and that was using active and passive basses.
