Asambique
I need to take my bass in for a bit of TLC. I have some buzz on a couple of the frets and the electronics need a look at as the volume knob crackles when turned turned up fully. I'm wondering if anyone on here has any recommendations as to where to go in the South Wales area. I'm based in the city center of Cardiff but drive so anywhere is an option really. Cheers! Grangur
I'd happily do all that for you for cost. Shame you're so far away.
Asambique
Cheers Gelfin will give those 2 places a call. Grangur thanks for the offer! Ideally i'd like to tinker myself and learn how to fix the problems but only having one bass at the moment i don't want to run the risk of making things worse! haha. [/quote] Then get down to Maplin and get some contact cleaner spray, and spray some in all the open holes you can see in the pots and get watching the videos on how to do a set up. Now's the best time to learn. Gottastopbuyinggear
It's a long time since I've been to Dave Dearnley's, but I'd suggest it's a much more interesting visit than Nobles. Not that there's anything wrong with Nobles, but Dave's workshop was a bit of an eye opener. He consistently gets good recommendations too.
