Hi there, this post is for a Fender USA deluxe Precision bass with Sadowsky pre-amp.

This bass has an incredible tonal range. It's been fitted with a Sadowsky pre-amp. This gives it a great ability to craft pretty much any tone you'd want. The bass has a few marks but nothing major, all cosmetic. Everything is fully working. Comes with Official Fender hard case and original Fender pre-amp. Pictures below are ones I took myself of the actual guitar for sale.

The Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass incorporates the best of the old and new, offering a modern single-coil pickup, shielded body cavitiy, medium jumbo frets, a vintage-style Fender Bridge, tinted neck (now available with a maple fretboard),three-ply parchment pickguard and a '70s-era logo.

Sadowsky:

Volume-Pan-VTC-Treble/Bass

VTC=Vintage Tone Control (pull up bypasses preamp)

Can be installed with included control plate or transferred to other plate or pickguard.Can be installed through a rear control cavity either 4 in line or diamond pattern. Pickups attach via connectors at pan pot. Direction of the pan can be easily reversed by switching connectors. Installation requires a side jack and a battery compartment. We recommend shielding the control cavity at the time of installation. We recommend installation by a professional guitar technician or builder. This system is not compatible with EMG or any other active pickups requiring anything other than a 250K or 500K volume pot. For these applications, please custom order a parts only preamp kit and use your existing volume pot.


Looking for £1100 ONO. I can have it put back to standard and sold without the Sadowsky pre-amp for a lesser price.

Hi there.

1. All I know is the push pull pot switches between passive and active as detailed on Sadowskys site. I'm not sure if this replaces a switch on an older model etc... but this is the current unit stock as Sadowsky supply them.

2. No, it's 9v. A direct quote from Saodwsky is "no additional headroom is gained from using 18v".
