Is in extremely good condition, with original box and works well with the one passive bass I've got, but my active basses are too hot for it. It's a cool sound but not for what I require right now. But as you are saying it's subtle (which it is) have you checked the mix trimpot inside? Set it on full and see what you think 😆 and im not sure but the later ones may have a gain trim.
