My original had a fault and had to go back to Darkglass and they sent a brand new replacement. It has been used little since then so, bar a small bit of velcro, this is the latest version of the Ultra (with the smaller switches) and is as new. This is the greatest preamp pedal in existence, in my most humble opinion. The EQ section on this version makes it extremely versatile and almost any valve like tones can be pulled out of this. Definitely not just for metal!
