Hi guys,
here is my next bass for sale (there are several more) I had the black dirnt body with the star on the top bout and I discovered that I had a Squuier maple Telecaster neck that's arrow straight so I fitted it together.

Along with some half decent tuners, some quality pots and a Seymour Duncan hot SPB-1 pickup this has turned into a really good bass with a very low action right along the neck. It sounds thunderous and is very easy to play. The bridge is a decent high mass jobby.
Weight is 8.1 lbs, nut width is about 44mm.

Can't go wrong for £175 with free UK delivery.

Is that a squier classic vibe neck? If so, that makes it even more attractive. Squier CV's are brilliant. Nice looking bass you've put together there. GLWTS

Thanks Marc, I'm not sure what the neck is off originally, it's very well finished with no nasty edges and it's the straightest I've seen in a long time.

Tom might be worth sending Pestie a PM about this bass me and him were only talking about them yesterday and I was telling him how good they were and I think you should make him buy it as it will make a nice change you not taking my pocket money lol

Right Tom, pay attention, I shall zay zis only wernce.

It's not a Telecaster neck. Part of the evidence is that it says PRECISION on the headstock   .
As Jono rightly pointed out, it's from a CV 50's Precision. In this case, maple board on maple neck (now discontinued, replaced by White Blond).

Folks call these a Telecaster headstock, but it's actually the original early 50's headstock style. This headstock style was brought back into production around '67 with the release of the Telecaster bass.
Since then it's been used on all sorts of basses.
