I'm looking for a set for my Dingwall fan fret but they don't do them. Bass Direct are showing out of stock for 5 stringers. Anyone out there any suggestions for alternatives

Strings direct have great customer service and are really helpful only down side is I don't think they can compete price wise with the big companies now as my strings are a fiverdearer from sd which is a shame as if it was only a few pence more I would shop there but a fiver per set is a lot of money

Well I got my order the other day - double pack of Legacy nickels for my 5 string and they are indeed made by Rotosound. I had a set of RS665LDN strings on previously and the Legacy strings have the same sound (at half the price) but lack the silks and the strings don't taper so much at the tuners (which makes it a little tricky persuading the B round a small tuning peg). Will definitely think about using Strings Direct again.
